2017 Aston Martin DB11 Review

The Aston Martin has been relying on its VH platform since 2001, using it in almost all of its vehicles. That came to an end in 2016, when the Company introduces their brand new, lighter structural design that includes parts engineered by Mercedes’ high-performance AMG division. With a new styling language, a sportier appearance, fantastic interior design and even better engine capabilities, this model will be so popular worldwide. We know that James Bond adore this model, and we think he has a good reason for that. In the next review, you can find something more about the latest 2017 Aston Martin DB11.

2017 Aston Martin DB11 – New Segment, New Style:

The exterior design is certainly one of the reasons why Bond loves this model so much. It will be very attractive and aggressive. Most of its exterior design is based on DB10 model. However, the headlights of the approaching model will be a bit thinner, and the next generation of LED technology will power it. The hood will be also slightly revised but it is finished in a similar fashion as the DB10 model. The front grille of the most recent 2017 Aston Martin DB11 is very similar to the DB10 front grille and is just not enough to say that is remarkable and elegant. When viewed from the side, the approaching model is a significant departure compared to its predecessor. This model still has the long trademark hood, while the roofline and the quarter windows are different, the rear haunches are sportier, and the rear overhang is shorter than before. The smooth roof and its silver strakes that run continuous from A- to C-pillar were borrowed from the DBX concept. According to pictures, large alloy wheels are provided, but we don’t have official information about its size.

The interior design of the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 will be slightly redesigned compared to its predecessor. If you liked DB9 model and its interior, then you will like and this model as well. The reason why is because the interior design of this model has a lot of similarities with the interior design of the previous DB9 model. For example, clean dashboard design and broad center stack with double rectangular A/C vents are some similarities, but everything else will be different and brand new. The new features inside include race-inspired instrument cluster, flat-bottom steering wheel, 12-inch TFT display, touchpad with character recognition, satellite navigation, audio system, and many others.

2017 Aston Martin DB11 – Engine Details and Performance:

The new 2017 Aston Martin DB11 will use a recently developed twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V-12 engine that will be capable of delivering 600 hp and 516 pound-feet of torque, which is a 97-hp and 59-pound-feet increase compared to the DB9’s larger, naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V-12. You must admit, a great job is done here! The brand new engine is mated to already known eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox but with some slight modifications. With this engine, the acceleration from 0-60 mph is 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 200 mph. That is 17 mph faster and 0.7 seconds quicker than the DB9.

2017 Aston Martin DB11 – Price and Development:

The redesigned 2017 Aston Martin DB11 will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this or most lately in the beginning of 2017. The starting price for this model also known as “Bond car” will be around $214,900.
