2017 Cadillac ATS-V Sedan, Coupe

The Cadillac is known for their posh luxurious cars. The automaker has unveiled its plans of releasing the next generation of ATS-V version with name 2017 Cadillac ATS-V. Cadillac will be releasing this version for the 2017 model year after it was launched during this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. The vehicle will be available in both sedan and coupe models and will be facing competition from other top model productions including BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, and Mercedes-Benz AMG. Consumers should expect impressive exterior and interior designing as well as improved powertrain and performance.

2017 Cadillac ATS-V – Exterior Design:

The 2017 Cadillac ATS-V is noticeably more muscular and sportier adopting angular bodywork. The car adopts high strength steel and lightweight materials, which enhance its aerodynamic performance and fuel efficiency. The hood adopts lightweight carbon design to further enhance the car’s velocity. The coupe model has larger dimensions than the sedan model. At the front end, the ATS-V Cadillac version presents aerodynamic front splitter, modified mesh piece grille, trunk lid- mounted spoiler and LED-infused vertical headlights. The rear end also adopts cutting-edge elements such as rear spoiler, sporty twin double- exhaust pipe system, and LED taillights. ATS-V will ride on 18-inch forged aluminum wheels making it very stable on the road.

Interior Design:

Both sedan and coupe models of the ATS-V versions comes with sophisticated and luxurious interior design. The well-appointed interior comes with a standard leather upholstery on the seats. The ATS-V’s sloping roof provides more headroom while the seating arrangement allows for sufficient legroom. The 2017 Cadillac ATS-V comes with CUE touch-screen infotainment center console where most of the car’s operations will be controlled.

Other standard interior components include keyless entry and ignition, automatic climate control, air-conditioner, cruise control leather upholstered telescopic tilt steering wheel, power heated front seat, 7-speaker Bose audio system with Bluetooth smartphone and audio integration, HD satellite radio, compatible USB port interface, CD/MP3/MP4 player, auxiliary jack input, media player interface and others. Safety and driver assistance components include magnetic ride-control suspension, premium safety belts and airbags, blind-spot warning system, forward collision warning system, Brembo brakes braking, 5-mode traction-management system, rear view camera, parking assistance and others.

2017 Cadillac ATS-V – Engine and Top Speed:

Under the hood, the new Cadillac ATS-V will be powered by 3.6 liters twin-turbocharged V6 engine. This unit is capable of producing up to 464 hp at 445 lb-ft of torque. The 2017 Cadillac ATS-V cars will be offered with either 6-speed manual transmission or 8-speed automatic transmission. The only drive model is Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) system. The combined EPA figure for both manual and automatic transmission is about 17/23 mpg. The top speed will be 189 mph with acceleration from 0 t0 60 with 4,2 sec.

2017 Cadillac ATS-V – MSRP and Release Date:

There is still no confirmation on the official release date and pricing for the 2017 Cadillac ATS-V. However, various reliable sources indicate that Cadillac is likely to release the vehicle at the end of this year or in the first quarter of 2017. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the upcoming Cadillac ATS-V is around $63,900 for the Coupe model and $61,700 for the Sedan.
