The Range Rover Sport is a one of the highest demanded car in the American market and the hype for the next gen Sport model is getting high. So Land Rover has decided to bring a 2017 version of Sport. The new 2017 Range Rover Sport will arrive soon in the market and it is expected to arrive by the second half of 2016. Though the current model is doing well in the market but keep up the pace with the market they decided to bring up the sport model with some makeover.

This new model will come up with a new drive train which will surely boost up the sales chart of Land Rover. This model has been spotted near the Nurburgring in Germany. It wasn’t heavily camouflaged rather only the front portion was covered.

From the first look you can see that most of the part has been inherited from the previous model but they have been restyled. This newly refreshed 2017 Range Rover Sport will carry the old Land Rover look, but with a face lifted outlook. According to some rumors there is a possibility that this model might take undergo the same modification which Range Rover Evoque has undergone. Front fascia will get many new updates like large air ventilation area, newly designed front bumper, restyled headlight and an updated grille with chrome accent.

Side portion and rear portion of this model will also get much new touch which includes improved body-line, side air intake space, side repeater indicator, remote lid opener, updated LED taillight, new spoiler, rear roof step etc. Apart from this most of the parts would remain same but they will be upgraded.

Interior portion of 2017 Range Rover Sport will get a posh design and top end tech gadgets which are common in high end sports model. According to some experts 2017 Range Rover Sport might carry its old engine and it will be available in two petrol version and one diesel version. Starting model will get a 3.0 liter Turbocharged V-6 petrol engine which can produce 340 HP while the other engine would be 5.0 liter Supercharged V-8 petrol engine producing 510 HP. The diesel unit will be a 3.0 liter turbocharged V-6 engine that can produce 254 HP and 440 lb-ft. This entire engine would be paired with an 8 speed automatic and EPA rating for petrol models might stay around 17 mpg and 22 mpg.

The new model will hit the market by the second quarter of 2016 but there isn’t any confirmed news about the exact date. The new 2017 Range Rover Sport price might stick to the old MSRP which is around $65,000.
