The Toyota Avalon is a full-sized car manufactured by Japanese automaker Toyota. Avalon is a flagship sedan manufactured by the company which is available in Canada, US, and the Middle East. The first generation Toyota Avalon came in the market during 1994, which was followed by second generation of the vehicle which was released in the year 1999. 2017 Toyota Avalon Hybrid – Design
The dimensions will not vary much from Avalon 2016 model. The 2017 Toyota Avalon Hybrid is expected to be 195.3 inches long, with a height of 57.5 inches. The car will be approximately 72.2 inches wide. Front leg room and rear leg room will be around 42.1 inches and 39.2 inches respectively.
There will be various changes in both exterior and interior styling. The company has confirmed that the base model of 2017 Toyota Avalon Hybrid will remain almost same as its previous model. The main focus will be given on styling. More chrome strips will be attached to the grille to increase its attractiveness, and the headlights may be slightly bent with better visibility due to use of LEDs. Aerodynamics is also expected to increase due to the changes in the body, which will give the vehicle better control. The color choices will include pearl, metallic silver, gray mica, metallic gray, metallic black, crimson mica, etc.
The interior of 2017 Toyota Avalon Hybrid will be remodeled with an excellent combination of comfort and luxury because of fine quality materials and increased space. Two types are engine used in Toyota Avalon; one is a 3.5-liter engine with V6 which can generate a power of 270 hp and torque of 335 pound-feet. The other used is hybrid power train, having 2.5 liter Atkinson-cycle engine with four valves, it gives an output of 200 hp and a torque of 156 pound-feet, and transmission will be an automatic type.
The top speed will remain close to 129 mph, and it will take approximately 6.1 seconds for the vehicle to reach from zero to 60 mph. For non-hybrid models, the fuel efficiency remains between 21 mpg to 31 mpg. But the hybrid engine type gives a better mileage which ranges between 31 mpg to 40 mpg.
